DESCRIPTION:THE THREE CONGRESS PARTNERS \nINTERNATIONAL PEDORTHIC ASSOCIATION (IVO)\nIVO is responsible for promoting international cooperation in the area of orthopaedic shoe technology. The IVO Congress takes place every three years\, with each event being held in a different country. Verband Fuss & Schuh applied for the 2024 Congress to be held in Switzerland. The application was approved. \nSWISS ASSOCIATION OF PROSTHETICS AND ORTHOTICS (APO)\nThe purpose of the Swiss Association of Prosthetics and Orthotics (APO) is the scientific study of the treatment and care of problems affecting the musculoskeletal system. APO holds its two-day annual conference once a year in Fribourg. The annual conference is now taking place in extended form as CONGRESS 2024. \nSWISS FOOT & SHOE ASSOCATION (FuS)\nThe Swiss Foot & Shoe Association has been the non-profit organisation for the shoemaker and orthopaedic shoemaker sector in Switzerland for 150 years. It advocates for the basic qualifications it offers\, Federally Certified Shoemaker (EFZ) and Federal Certified Orthopaedic Shoemaker\, and promotes up-and-coming talent in these fields. It preserves the economic and professional interests of its members and promotes their performance through further professional training and exchange of experiences and by holding specialist conferences and courses. In addition\, it promotes cooperation between doctors and state and private insurers and with other organisations and associations in related professions in Switzerland and abroad. \nTHE IDEA BEHIND THE CONGRESS LOGO\nThe three colours in the circles correspond to the colours of the congress partners’ logos. The overlapping circles are intended to symbolise the cooperation between and combination of the three partners and thus reflect the collaboration taking place within the context of CONGRESS 2024. \n
